On-line printing

Has anyone used peak-imaging for larger sized prints?? I’m wanting to print a 50x70cms image and peak-imaging are almost half the price of the high street. I’m curious about the quality of the print.

Can anyone recommend an on-line printer?

I used them for an 18×12 B+W and was very happy with both the print itself but also the paper, nice and heavy.
Came rolled in a kind of parchment/tissue paper all within a cardboard roll.

Their postage is expensive enough because if I recall they’ll priority post it.
If you’re not in a hurry you can ask them to ship it for less, but will take an extra day or so.

Well, they did a superb job of some 40″ x 30″ prints I needed to get done a couple of years ago. If you’re going really large it’s worth paying extra for their premium grade service. The prints came back in two torpedo tubes (I kid you not!) :)

The largest I’ve done with them was 9 x 12 inches, came out great. Very happy with the results.

I have always found the quality of their prints excellent, and also found that their after sales service & customer support to be very good. I got a series (6) of 30 by 20 prints from slides a few years ago and had them mounted onto foamboard and the quality blew me away. The only problem I have ever found with them was their packaging. If the prints are posted flat they are so well packaged & protected that it can take some time to actually get to the prints !!
