True. I think I will stick to 600px images. I read something about a technique called ‘shrink-wrapping.’ Not so useful for forums, but for websites it seems quite cool. It basically involves putting some sort of transparent table over your photos. Then when people right-click and save, they actually save the table and don’t get your photos. That can of course be beaten with a screen-grab (although I think for a small fortune you can buy a security system for your site that prevents people taking screen grabs?).

So it looks like there are only 2 solutions which actually work……a large watermark covering most of the photo, or don’t post your photos at all!

That’s pretty much it. I reckon anyone with a bit of savvy can save your photo if it’s been downloaded to their computer. I’ve seen “anti-right-click” apps and “anti-photo-saving” apps, but if the pic is there then you can always get it somehow. Let’s face it, it has to be understood by the browser and they only display 3-4 image formats. Embedding it in a flash movie makes it awkward, but there are progs that reverse-engineer Flash movies too.

Very nice photos Steve. The filters made the job.
My favourite is the second one for its composition and colours.
The third one has good mood but I don’t like the concrete on the foreground… But that is just my taste.

Like that second and third ones Steve. Good locations up that neck of the woods
