    Upgraded the camera today and was mad to get out
    but sods law it was a dull old evening

    It’s a great shot Cathal. There’s lovely movement in the waves.

    One thing that might be worth trying would be to maybe to some sharpening of the hill in the background to try and remove the haze and maybe make the hill more a part of the picture.

    Was the shot taken through a fence or something? There seems to be something funny in the front foreground, like an out of focus wire or something.

    Harry dont knowwhat that line is it could be a drop of water on the lens
    it was blowing a gale and the seaspray was annoying to say the least.

    Nice one Cathal. Another visit to the magical land of Urris I see.

    Your new camera will certainly be doing the business now. I like this one very much. A great clarity to this one and nice choice of shutter speed.

    I suspect that the line is a small mark on your filter. Could be water as you say but this looks more likely to be a small scratch or smear.

    Hope to see you on Sunday for the big adventure.
