Don’t process film when under the influence.

All of the above really good. Had a few “good idea” moments as I read through.

I second the plastic bag above. Not just for covering the camera bag, but also great for kneeling on when the ground underfoot is soft and damp.

Also, a small food ziplock bag filled with sand or, more practical, dried peas – acts as a small balancer when the ground underneath isn’t flat and the tripod is at home.
