Due to the lack of regular models, last Fridays Camera club meet (my first) ended up with us having to sit and pose ourselves…
This is one of Stoycho Danev, who kindly provided the use of the lights. This is the first time I’d used anything like this so quite happy in the end….
Does it have too much of a “mugshot” feel to it ?

I’m no expert on formal portraits or lighting set ups.
I think this is a really good image.
The clarity and lighting seem really good to my eye.Personally I would like to see this with Stoycho looking into the
lens but it’s what you wanted that counts.That’s just my non-expert view.

Ah good ole Stoycho..haven’t seen him since the Mournes trip.
Looks pretty good to me..very sharp and crisp. Certainly not going for the moody angle as it’s really well lit.

Thanks guys, I have a few that I’m still tinkering with that have more camera-eye contact. Although not sure Stoycho would be too approving in them being up here !
Who knows maybe we’ll have some real models this Friday that can knock out some more classic poses !
