Not too bad attempt for your first time macro. Though the image is not sharp enough. Looks a bit out of focus to me. For this shot you could either pull back a little and try to shoot the flower off center. Smack bang in the middle dosn’t really work very well. Another approach is to try get in a lot closer, with high levels of detail being the main attribute of the image. But that would require pin head sharp focus.
Thanks for information and for replying. Will keep this in mind. Have to say I love taking pictures in macro, but I think when I am uploading them the images are too big for screen. Not sure how to fix that.
