Class Mick. It’s great.
One minor niggle is that some edges are blurred.
you would post one here just after I had a go at the entire still life section-
Now this one, if I had to pick a genre, I’d put it into the ‘Botanical Studies’ section-
although depending on the size of the original, it might be a macro-
maybe not in this situation-I’ve got to say I’m not convinced about this one Mick-
I think it’s the main light coming from below, and throwing shadows upwards-
it’s a little confusing to me, and has me wondering how it might look rotated 90 clockwise-
which is something I maybe shouldn’t be thinking at all-It’s good to see it large- those tiny details would be completely lost at the sizes you usually post-

And I must commend your bravery posting to this section! I expected NO activity here until after round two :lol:
I have a question though on the image. What does it look like in colour?
super job wouldnt normally lurk in this section but i bet the view rate will shoot up in the next few days all seeking insparation with poty round two in mind
