All I can say is that I think this is a fascination photograph.

I can only imagine the speed at which this event unfolded.

John, the speed is … … well it’s quick. A veteran like EJ above hits the water faster than a blink, manipulates the fish in a second or two, and is out of sight from the hide in 2 more seconds. A younger bird, if it does grab a fish, might sit in the water a little longer but once it decides to go, it’s gone in a flash too. Out of 4 * 4.5 hour visits, this was tbe best of the close up shots that I took.
