Osprey on the hunt

Hey All
Was out in Florida recently – lucky me – and got to spend a day or two in Viera Wetlands – highly recommend it for anyone that is out that way.Anyways got a few images of this guy – he was not very good at hunting this day – he must have diving 10-12 times without any luck! Seemingly 90% of their dives are misses.

seen one :roll: :lol:Yip… really is a great spot for wildlife and landscape.. and nice sun and warm days too :D
Nice set of shots. It is really hard to get these.
I’ve just returned from photographing osprey in Virginia. I found a nice litle secluded spot where I was treated to a dive by the birds every 15-20 minutes, usually out of reach. I’m itching to load them on the laptop and get processing.
