OMG!
OMG!
I mean OMG!   ….as the junior cert young one’s would say.
The quality of those pics is incredible, Steve.
You would never think that it was a Lomo Fish Eye.
I love them all, and especially the gravity bar pic.
What film stock did you use btw?
AlessiaParticipantI say it again…. OMG…. is this the Holga fisheye??????????????
Great great pictures!5faytheParticipantHi Steve,
I really enjoyed looking at these.
They are like little circular gems.
Unusual.
Nice scenes.Very good.
Worth the wait I would say.
Well done.
John.
ossie13ParticipantThanks all…yes I was please with the quality from a €40 plastic camera…!!!
Seoirse I used Fuji Superia 400 and the photo are straight from the camera no PSing…!!
Cheers Steve
thedarkroomParticipantLovely set here Steve, particularly like the Jame’s Gate shot. I know it’s hard to judge from small web shots but they look really sharp and clear, I’m impressed with the Holga fisheye. I’m going to have to get one of those cameras and that lens and . . . and . . and . . .
Looking at these photos and at Gerry’s on another post is infectious and makes you want to rush out and get snapping. Well don,David
MartinParticipantVery nice set of shots. 1, 2 and 4 stand out for me out of a very nice bunch, well done
M
shutterbugParticipantOh WOW……….well worth the wait, great little camera I can see
this commanding a “day” all to itself :) I love the way they turned out,
like looking through a telescope………..Great stuff :)jb7ParticipantSteve-
now there’s lo-fi and lo-fi-
but seeing the inside of the barrel of your lens is definitely taking it to a new level-I suppose I feel challenged by these-
they’re almost a full circle, and I suppose, compositionally, I might have preferred if they were…the fact that they seem sharp here,
well, they’re kinda small to begin with, a crop from 35mm,
so we know what the optical considerations are…Although all lenses project a circular image,
I guess it’s kinda difficult to compose within a circle-
in the history of art, most images are contained within a rectangular frame.Steve, I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m kinda not blown away by these-
choice of optics and the effects they create can’t compensate, or substitute for the picture-
and I can’t, in a kinda Simon Cowell way, see what’s going on with these-I do have to qualify-
I don’t have a particular love for fisheye type images-
but lots of people do….DenverDollParticipantThis is the first moment I have had to really start going through the lofi day work~
What a treat to see these fisheye:-)
You did a fantastic job Steve!
Sharon
jessthespringerParticipantI like these Steve, they’re really different and the quality looks great, I like the third one too, and the one of Trinity (?)
