Jim Vanessa kennedyMember March 24, 2008 at 11:46 pm Love the detail in this Jim, excellent colours in the centre of the flower… Vanessa :) BrickeeParticipant March 24, 2008 at 11:49 pm Thank you Vanessa, I have A little touch up to do and some miner cloneing, then I think I’ll print this one. Jim BrickeeParticipant March 25, 2008 at 12:18 am Touched up and ready for print. Comments please. Jim shutterbugParticipant March 25, 2008 at 7:17 pm Agree with Vanessa the centre colour is very unusual but really makes the shot pop, should print up nicely. BrickeeParticipant March 25, 2008 at 7:33 pm Thank you Shuterbug, This flower is less then an inch in dia. the colours are as shot there was no increase in saturation or anything, just autofix and auto contrast then sharpened and a slight crop. Ohh and some miner clean up and cloneing. Jim jb7Participant March 25, 2008 at 8:33 pm One inch is small- looks good for that range- You may not have adjusted the saturation, bit it does look a little bit like the red channel is topping out- Reducing the saturation in the reds might give a little more texture in the dark areas of the petal- or maybe not, I don’t know- But sometimes flower petals are strange like that- j BrickeeParticipant March 25, 2008 at 8:46 pm Thanks j, I’ll give it a look before I print.
