It’s looking like a distinctly Lo-Fi crowd down south-
What’s the betting they have all the latest new fangled computer camera stuff up north?

    Some things never change…

Stick me in for the 22nd. As long it’s not more than a 2 hour walk from Stephens Green I’m in.

Where exactly are you planning on meeting? I mean EXACTLY?? I don’t know Dublin at all so I’ll have to memorize a map.

Looks like I’ll have to go anyway…I might owe JB a few bob.

Now that we have a day, we should start to think about the program.
The idea of the pub crawl is good (not just because of the beer -as some malicious person from the north insinuated – but in order to take some interior shoots). We could use the ones suggested by JB7

I’d also like to visit the Bacon exhibition the Hugh Lane gallery on Parnell Squar.

Any other suggestion would be welcome…. we have more than a week, so a lot of time to organise a great day!

    P.S.
Wonka, which place would you suits better as meeting point?

    Cheers

Any meeting point will do so long as it’s a national landmark!!!

No seriously, as long as I know where it is I’ll find it.

I know what you mean… I’ve a terrible sense of direction and I’m able to get lost also in a place that I know very well….
As soon as we have clearer ideas about the program, we’ll decided the meeting point. And it will be a the biggest, most famous and most national landmark ever!

Westland Row or Tara Street would be the closest train stations…

I’d be driving up to Stillorgan and I’ll get the Luas in from there to Stephens Green. It’s the handiest way for me so I’ll be central anyway.

    what’s this traitor nonsense???

BTW I’ll be in Dublin, so that WonkyFan will have a guide.
NFL, should I ask for your presence in public, or you’ll join us spontaneously?

personally I wouldn’t mind going a little bit on the coast (weather permitting), like between Malahide and Portmarnock..

well, maybe it’s related to your betrayal in favour of the Belfast event…

I’ll probably go to the city center by Luas from Stillorgan as well…. so if you want we can meet at the Luas station and then we can get lost together once we arrive in St. Stephen Green ;)

And you say you’re not so good at organising these events Alessia…pfffttt! I’ll keep you in mind for my next fundraiser  Thanks for including me on the list.

    See you all soon!
