This picture has been driving me demented since I took it.
I like the sky… I like the silhouette… I just can’t get my head around whether the composition is good or simply awful.
I had it posted on my Flickr account, consulted with lousy for a 2nd opinion, then decided not to post it on PI, done, end of story.
Then Wonkafan left a comment saying he liked it… so it sneaked back into my head again.
I decided to throw it out there… see will it sink or swim…
Sun too bright, distracts from main subject.
Needs a bit of a crop from right, perhaps?

I think the composition is right NFL Fan, as is the choice of making it this format. I really don’t think it needs a crop. The statue seems to be a little blurred though? I think it would look a lot better if it was sharp…it just looks fuzzy around the edges. That’s the only thing that’s putting me off really
