Out for the count
-
GrahamBParticipant
Just one from the weekend.
I know it is a touch on the bright side. I posted it before
i finished processing to see if anyone had any tips. The shadow on the
right seems a little distracting i’ll try and clone that out.
Any tips on improving this shot would be greatly appreiciated – thanksExpresbroParticipantWell I dont think Nike would be too pleased with this shot Graham
The only thing I’d suggest is maybe to back off a little bit and show us more of the context in which the shot was taken, the surroundings etc. It looks like the boardwalk in the middle of the day…so I think a wider view showing life going on around this guy would have even more impact.
Only other thing I’d like to say is….is no sleeping drunk safe from the prying lenses of PI members anymore? :D

Eh – simple answer no. If you stay still long enough one of us will eventually take your picture.
I’m actually keeping an eye out here at the moment, I was crossing Georges street this morning and some
Nikon wielding madman took my picture in mid cross. How dare he, I did not give him my writtern consent. :lol:I would have loved to spend more time framing this shot a little better but the guys mate who was equally drunk but significantly more
awake was paying very close attention to proceedings. Snap and run situation.
Oh and well spotted it is the boardwalk.ExpresbroParticipantYup. One of the hazards of this kind of photography is eventually you’re gonna run into one or two of the “mates” who’ll be hell bent on relieving you of your camera (and anything else on your person) and converting it into many bottles of Buckfast or whatever.
Just make sure you have faster Nike’s than them… 8)
