Had the pleasure to be on board the R.N.L.I boat Ger Tigchelaar while on exercise in Arklow Bay with the Coast guard services
The picture has HDR added effect to the skyline to add a moody effect

    Certainly moody…

    Great capture, very dramatic breakaway-
perhaps a bit of a pity the guy on the bridge wasn’t a salty sea dog type-
looks like he might be more at home in a hot hatch,
    but that’s a minor point-

The processing is a bit overdone for me,
    the shot doesn’t need it,
but I’m sure others will love it-

Nice angle you got – I’m with JB on the finishing – probably unnecessary but only you can tell that.

I was surprised that you got on board – speaking to the local DLA recently all civilian passangers are now banned unless they become victims due to the risk of injury and the whole insurance situation. You must know someone very well…

It’s a dramatic shot ted. It’s a shame that all of the action is on the left hand side.. if the island was on the other side it’d be perfect!

I’m not sure what you can do to address this. If the boat was centred I think it might be improved. You didn’t crop from the right by any chance?

Harry: the boat was turning into land at speed didnt have time to set it was just point and click the helecopter was also fast approaching also
picture was not cropped as i said the only change i made was adding hdr to give a mood to the skyline
