This is a lovely shot Cathal…the road looks like
a river flowing down to the sea…is it rainwater ?Noel.
going by the weather in donegal at the min would i be right in thinking its ice?

Its pure ice Noel A guy came up the road in his nice new 4×4 while i was getting set up

This is a nice shot, but I would’nt rate as good as most of your work.
The light is good, and the road leads the eye nicely into the frame . . .
but
to me it looks like a SNAP. there isnt really to much of interest in the shot.

Thats all it is a snap I was asked to take this shot for somebody for a present its not something I would normally take
the client is the king right ( ;
The river road makes it really interesting. I just would take care of the cyan sky. cyan skies are a famous result of matix. not sure if you used it. colour adjustment layer would tranform the whole image into a real szene. But this depends of your goal

I love the icey road and the road acting as a lead in line, lovely bright vibrant colours and light, but I think it needs a little cropping to remove some of the hedge-row in the bottom right. I’ve positioned my browser to crop/cut-off that post in the hedge and it looks a much stronger image.
