More than one person has mentioned to me that this is rather Rob-esque. Not as good as your work.mind you..by a long shot…but I do have to admit that as soon as I saw it..that sort of sprang to my mind as well. Think it must be brilliant Olympus minds
Cheers Sharon, though not everyone sees this type of shot
in the same light. Personally I love these random traffic scenes,
shot on the fly through the windscreen or, when the rain stops,
roughly aimed from the open window. It can be tricky enough
to get the exposure right in the limited amount of time you
have before the lights change and the gobshite behind you (who
doesn’t realise you have higher artistic endeavors on your mind
than keeping up with the traffic) starts honking furiously.
Nice one Sharon. Good composition and detail, and the colour
looks pretty good too, though the green lights may need a little
burning in…
Along with that there is the hazard of the filthy windscreen..which for some reason didn’t seem to be a factor in this one.
Anyway, I think I’ll be doing more of this as it was pretty fun and put me in a lighter mood than I had been when I woke to see the white crud after just one day of brilliant Spring weather.
Glad you likey. (though I have no illusions that it is not everyone’s cup of tea)
