Nobber what a name i alway laugh for some reason when i see sign posts for that place…

Nice picture. When you say painting by light i presume you used a torch or flash or something during a long exposure? Seen this done a few years back with a torch, its something i want to try at some stage.

This is a nice picture. Has a real atmosphere to it. Colours and post processing are possibly a bit over the top but i like them. Would be interesting to see how it would print

    Well done

    Nice colours and composition.
The black line around the tower gives impression that the tower was added to to the photo….

hi reg would you like to share with us how this was done with regards lighting. lovely pic with a super sky but I am baffled how the head stones a lit up but the tree and fore ground are not. How ever you did it it works keep up the good work… :D

Done this many times…. can be tricky combining the 2 exposures when there is a tree or in this case ivy growing on the building. Its a little bit obvious around the upper part of the tower and perhaps a tad oversaturated in the sky. I would definately try combining them again as this has super potential…! Here are a few I did over the last while…. http://www.pbase.com/richiehatch/lightpainting
