It’s certainly a nice composition and you’ve found a great location for this type of shot.
I think the light wasn’t great when you took the above shot and you can see a number
of small issues from the post processing. The lower sky on the left bottom corner
looks a bit strange and also the left half of the sky in general looks darker than the right
half of the sky.
I would say you try it again early some spring morning and you would have an excellent
image.
I like this a lot, the skyline is mighty impressive, the river is a bit silvery and oily looking I presume a function of the camera setting appropriate to darker light conditions.. It looks to me a bit like a painting from the 1700s, one of those very grand panoramas in the art gallery. My only major gripe with it would be the tree on the left, don’t need it, cull it.
the panorama is messy in every way – but still: the light is very interesting. Did you handstitch or did you use software. HDR or heave contrast adjustment in PS. Ok gentle now.
You should do it again. Make sure that every image has the same withbalance, the same exposure / aperture. Be fast with quick changing light conditions. Pay attention to the waterstructure. Some more info of you and i am sure you can “rescue” that image ( ;
thx for all comments and all tips I did that shots 3 years ago D10 so not much to do with that :) I try do it again, when I will be there :) until that time I try do something new :)
