I wouldn’t really go for #1 TBH, not that there is anything wrong with it, just my taste. I love #2 however. The symmetry is great. Pity there’s not a little bit more light in the sky as I think it would show the tower’s features a little better

Maybe straighten #2 a bit. I like #1, but I can’t make up my mind whether to suggest a crop to get rid of the bin or to clone it out.

#1 is a n interesting perspective, but I think more should have been made of the bin. It should either be given more promenance or excluded altogether – as it is, it seems to be accidently interjecting! #2 is really nice.

Good work, second works best for me but its a bit too tight to the top of the frame – best to leave some head room

Thanks for the comments guys. Haven’t posted anything in ages

It was a surprise trip from my fiancée for my birthday ….I’m very lucky I know, so I didn’t have my tripod. So I was propping my camera on a rubbish bin trying to keep it steady.
The bin I had cropped out originally, but I uploaded the wrong one.
b318isp you are spot on, the bin was not placed in the frame by design.

I was thinking of getting one printed out on a large canvas, any recommendations for which one. I was thinking the first one as I think the perspective is a little different.

    Owen,
I think both of your photo’s are fantastic, get them both mounted, make a nice pair.
