    Can’t fault it. I really like the flare from the sun, not too little not too much. It’s a beauty.

    A pleasure to look at – well done. For learning – would the large stone / small rock in the center foreground add that bit extra if it were more to the left to balance the sun ?

    Thanks John. You could well be right. Sometimes (as you probably know) you are limited as to where you can stand your tripod and still keep dry :) but it would certainly be true to say that I sometimes hurry my composition.

    Pete,

    The shot is my kind of of photo. One of the things that I find myself doing – especially with slides – is going through them afterwards and wishing a stone or tree, etc. was in a slightly different place. But that’s the journey which helps getting a winner when heading out next time.

    That’s a fine image, the stones and contrasty sea are very poweful and sure to make a wonderful print.
