Dublin Zoo was mental today :D – absolutely packed. Managed to take this in between getting jostled by the crowds!
Just that one big highlight in the white Tara-
the rest is perfect-
Though I’d try to take some off the top-j
Um that highlight is pretty bloody glaringly obvious now that I look at it!!
I have the RAW file so I’m sure I can bring back some detail in there.

Lovely close up Tara. Perfect, as Joseph already said, apart from
the highlight. The extra space at the top doesn’t bother me at all.

Lovely shot Tara…looks like that D200 is starting to work well with ya :D The detail you’ve captured is fantastic and if that was at the cost of the blown whites well it was worth it.
Thanks guys :D I was pretty pleased with that one, despite the blown highlight :( I thought that there was still good detail in the beak, feathers etc and I liked the pinky colour around the beak.
And yes Robbie, the D200 is a dream :D :DJ – thanks for the tip re polariser. I have one ordered which has been waiting for collection for a week!! I better go get it! :D
Didn’t notice blown out white at all because there is so much detail around the face (?), beautiful shot.
I am going back to the zoo this Saturday…
