Period Dress /Costumes

Hi there,
I am looking for a source of period clothing in the Dublin area. Initially I am looking for Victorian style dress but really I’d like to build up a list of sources for various types of dress and costume.
I am aware the Abbey Theatre has a warehouse in Dublin but the only problem there is they only open by appointment during working hours on Tuesday and Wednesday. Unfortunately that’s highly inconvenient for me.
So does anyone have any ideas or contacts in this area ? I would appreciate any help, thanks.
Irish Arms are the best source of high quality period costume although victorian is a bit later than they handle. they hire costume, props, period animals etc and you can look them up on their website. they are based in Cavan
i used the abbey costunme thing only the other week, apart from it being a pain. they have a stunnning selection, they also give you them for a few days for free for fittings etc
