    hi, there. can anybody help me, pls. i have photography like a hobby but i would like to go taking pictures of bands, singers, some events where is not allowed to bring the pro camera. does anybody know how can i get a permission to attend this events with my camera? do i need the special permit for each event or can i get a general one from some agency ?
    and i would like to know how is working if i wanna sell some pictures to the press agency?

    Usually you can´t get a permission as an individual, only media get permissions – they get them in return for publishing adverts for the organizer. So working for a newspaper or magazine is the best solution. And yes, in most cases you need to apply for each event, unless your employer made a long term agreement with the organizer.
    The next option is to ask the band if they want some photos, but on bigger events it usually doesn´t work because they have their own people to do this type of things.

    If you want to sell pictures, you can sell them to those who want to publish a report and didn´t get a permission to take photos.

    thank you MMX for a your quick answer. i really appreciate it. and as i think is it not gonna be easy to get a contract with a any magazines and newspapers without relevant education, is it? or do i have to built out my own portfolio?and send to them and hope that someone will like it. do you have any usefull advice with this cause i would like to try go to next level (from hobby to semi pro)thanks again

    Build a portfolio (start visiting smaller events where you can bring a camera), in photography industry nobody gives a damn about your education, it´s only about your skills, no matter if you´ve been learning for 5 days or 5 years.
