Two images from last night during the Perseids meteor shower, I missed an explosive star earlier in the night and it’s still driving me mad. :x I would love some feedback on these as I’m hoping to try again tonight and hopefully I’ll capture a really bright one.
Thanks for comments Peter, I did use a Halogen lamp at one stage but for a short while when the clouds cleared it was like daylight due to the moon. I even turned off my head torch for a while.
The moon has been really bright and it is a wonder any stars showed at all, well done, maybe
darken it a bit as suggested, it will make the stars pop a bit more.
You’re lucky you were able to see some of them. I saw a great display about 30 years ago and I haven’t seen them since. Every 12th August it’s been cloudy, if not actually pouring rain here where I live in Donaghcloney.
Thanks for the comments lads, pardon the pun but I was over the moon  to catch the meteor shower. I’ve never seen so many stars falling in the space of two hours. I ventured out on the thirteen also but alas there was too much cloud cover.
