Photo Critique Service

Hi folks –
I’m announcing a new service today – I’m now offering photo critiques over my website. If you have an image that you’re not sure of, or you think could be better, head over to my photo critiques service page. There you’ll be able to upload a high-res version of the image.For a small fee, I’ll provide a detailed critique of the image from both a creative and technical perspective. I’ll tell you what went right and what went wrong, and what you can do to improve on the next one.
If you don’t know me, you may wonder how I’m qualified to tell you how you can improve your photos. As well as being a professional landscape photographer, one of a very few in Ireland, I’m also an associate of the Irish Professional Photographers Association. Associateship is the second-highest qualification given in the IPPA, and achieved by less than 10% of the 400+ members, all of whom are professional photographers. I’m also a regular judge at the IPPA’s quarterly photographer of the year judging sessions.
Secondly, I teach regular workshops and seminars on digital landscape photography at which I critique the participants’ photographs.
You could well say that I earn a good portion of my living by doing just this sort of thing!

I can see people having a bit of fun with this. Post it off to Peter for a critique and then post it on Photography Ireland for the response here and then start a mini war among the Intelligencia just to watch the sparks fly. Could be fun!
