    The first Robin looked out of focus but I thought the second one you had on your page was sharper and better.

    Hi Darkness 1964.
    This is a good 1st attempt. Robins when not used to humans can be hard to get close to so you may have to tempt them with some food. I find that when they are facing directly at the camera they look a little strange. I would normally photograph birds facing to the side, but that’s just my preference & maybe others would disagree. I would also try to get as close to eye level as I could. There is a lot of branches in your shot which can be distracting. Try to photograph the bird on an isolated branch when possible as this normally gives you a plain background. Overall, your shot is nice though.
