You were watching The Godfather too many times, G, time for a break.
So, come on people, do we want to decide on the date? Start voting then…
GizzoParticipantactually, I cheated.
I’ve seen the movies once, maybe twice ;)
but I agree on the second part… let’s vote.jessthespringerParticipant20th for me…
sorry it has taken me a while to reply random(man)wayray…
I’m a little excited by it actually!
AlessiaParticipantrandomwayMemberQuestion: would it be good if the darkroom part of the meeting was from 12.30 till 17.00 (instead of 10-17)? I got the confirmation, that the 20th June is free, we just need to agree on the length of the event. Personally, I think, starting at 12.30 would give a chance to the representatives of the People’s Republic of Northern Ireland and other remote parts of the world to get to Dublin.
What do you think?
GizzoParticipantso from 12.30 to 17?
sounds good to me, even if I might be around earlier.actually, do we have a list of people attending?
specifically, is Expresbro part of the meeting???thefizzParticipantI have a lot of old paper which I may never use so if you guys want it for your photograms I could leave it in Airfield, as I will be teaching a workshop there this Saturday. The paper could be a little fogged but maybe could still be usable for photograms. Some of it may not be very fogged at all so you are welcome to have it anyway. Most of it is graded paper in various sizes but that wouldn’t matter for photograms. You could take home any paper that you don’t use.
Also if you are developing film, you may need to bring some tanks and reels as the ones in Airfield are a bit grubby and just tossed all over the place.
Have a fun day.
Peter
randomwayMemberThat’s a great offer, Peter, thanks! I can give you one of my photograms in return.. I know, that’s worse than the clear paper :)
We can sit down for a coffee in the city if you are around earlier, Gizzo, just give me a shout.
An up to date list is not a bad idea.. so far it looks like we have:
Jessthespringer
Gizzo
Randomway
Alessia
Plainoldme (maybe)
NFL-fan
Expresbro (maybe)Add your name if you would liek to join or if I missed you from the list.

I think some might say I’m a poor representative, but, yeah cool!!
em, yes, but I might be a little late, think my train gets in at 1
is it easy to get there from Connolly? Anyone know?randomwayMemberGuys, change. Airfield say that the 20th June is booked up, and they would have the 21st… or we have to delay the photogram event even more… or we would have to find an other place…
I called the Light Exchange, they only have a small darkroom with two englargers.. not optimal, but I will have a look on Monday, if the room itself and the working surface is big enough, we could work around the enlarger issue.
I had a look at the Gallery of Photography’s website, it seems that they have a small darkroom, too. Anyone knows about a place that could accomodate this meeting on the 20th?
So, shoot!
randomwayMemberI will give this thread a bump again. As I said above, we don’t have a darkroom on the 20th, only on the 21st, Sunday, if that’s any good.
We have to cancel the event or move it for a later date or to a different venue.
Please let me know a.s.a.p. if the Sunday is good for you!!
jessthespringerParticipantSeoirseMember21st is ok for me too.
But, will we be holding the print exchange same day?
GizzoParticipantrandomwayMemberThat’s great, George, it would be good to see you.
I asked Airfield to pencil in the event for the 21st June, from 12.30 to 16.30. There would be enough time afterwards to sit down in a pub and make the print exchange with those who don’t participate in the photogrammetry thing.
