Yes, hopefully… I will send out PM’s today.
Just to recap on this, I booked a darkroom at Airfield for the 21st June, Sunday. We can start any time from 10am and they are open until 16.30. I would suggest an 11 or 12am start. It will cost €60 for the group, so depending on how many will turn up for the meeting, it will be around a tenner a head.

a.Sorry folks but I didn’t leave that paper in Airfield as the last post I read on this thread suggested a change of venue due to the 20th being booked up. Now I see you are still going to Airfield this Sunday but i don’t think I’ll get to drop it in before then, sorry. If anyone is passing Trim any day up to Sunday, let me know and you could pick it up.

No probs Peter, I think, we won’t have problem with the paper supply. I have about 40-50 sheets of 8×10 fibre and about 20 sheets of 8×10 RC paper… that on it’s on should suffice to the whole group.
By the way, the maximum number the darkroom can accomodate is 8 people, so I need to know if there would be more with the Print Exchange and all..

I have some paper, quite old that I will bring along. various sizes and grades. (all RC I am afraid)who will bring the chemicals???
I will probably exploit the darkroom to develop some film as well…. so I will bring my tank plus other bits!Right…
Need to know where & what time everybody is meeting on Sunday?
I’m assuming it might handiest for us all to meet in the city centre and then make our way to the Airfield?

PS. Can we develop some B+W film too? Maybe make a print? I’ve a roll of 120 I wouldn’t mind giving a go… Gizzo said he might bring the basic bits n pieces.
PPS. What do I need to bring to make a nfl-ogram? Just some magnetic letters from the fridge?

Also, if people want to bring some prints with them, (can be colour or black and white and doesn’t matter what kind of paper they are printed on) I can show you how to make paper negatives…
So, yes, what are the plans for Sunday then?
I’m hoping that a tall, dark, handsome Italian will be meeting me at Connolly, and if he’s not there, maybe Gigi will meet me! :wink: (sorry Gigi, I never get tired of that one)

I need the ones who want to participate to PM me their numbers… then I send a part of a message to these numbers, give you clues where you could meet each other, and if you manage to meet up , you will get a second riddle… if you give me the right answer, I can tell you where to go. After you find the place, you have two answer three more questions, and you gain access to the darkroom.
Easy as that.
You can use the enlargers and whatnot, so you just need to bring your own chemicals and go ahead, develop film or make prints..
12 o’clock at Connolly station? At the bottom of the moving stairs? Can be earlier, the darkroom is ours from around 10.30.
p.s. Sinead, I am not Italian or tall or even handsome, so you are stuck with Gigi :P
for me it would be better to come directly to Arfield (is there any parking place??) if it’s not a problem… at what time will you arrive guys?

Gizzo: I have 1L of Ilford Multigrade and 1L fixer, fresh. If there is another person bringing the same amount, that should be more than enough I think. For development I can bring you a bottle of Rodinal Special if you want.
Ok, earliest train from Newry to Dublin on Sunday is 11 AM which means I won’t be in Dublin until 12.15, is that too late?
