Looking for the best deals on Insurance folks. PL/PI and Equipment.
Have a quote from Photo-Shield. Am just wondering if these guys the most competitive?Mucho Gratias in advance.

i went with photo shield after getting 6 quotes from different suppliers.
photo shield was the most competitive and easiest to deal with for what I was looking for.
Two separate brokers here told me that Photographers don’t need PI in Ireland because only doctors/architect type jobs need it.
Quinn don’t offer equipment cos its just not worth it for them and their PL quote was more expensive than the full shebang with Photoshield.
oh, and http://www.towergatecamerasure.ie/ is UK based as well and were cheaper than Photoshield but didn’t cover as much. Try them too.
The IPPA and the SWPP and various other associations offer discount on insurance via group schemes etc.
Our local camera club has a group scheme for public liability for all the members. I think it raised the subs by about €10 per member. I’m believe however it only covers club activities and not independent use.
the swpp have a group scheme through europlan insurances in stephens green
Not sure how much the basic one is but its based on a hibernian policy
