Photos from space

Wasn’t sure if this is the right place to put this cause haven’t really done this sort of thing. So feel free to move it. But found this link with a few photos on it, taken from out of space by an astronaut. Worth looking, in my opinion!

Every time I see photos from space I get woosy.
I just spent an hour trying to figure the locations without reading the captions. My primary school teachers would be proud. I still got a passing grade.
Does anyone know anything about the kit he used for these? Does it belong to NASA?
Not much smoke, fog, or smog up there.

That’s OK. If it was an original, I was going to be jealous of your car as well as your photography.

I think you might get info about the equipment he used on the same or some linked site. He used a 1200mm lens once, says on one of the captions.. Probably would be useful to read the comments under the pictures as well :)
I was surprised that most of them are very clean,too. Would think it’s a lot more smoggy up there..
