Photos of abandoned supply shacks of Antarctic explorers….

Not strictly a photography site, but, still a fascinating example of photography being used to record a moment in history. I won’t spoil the surprise of the photos. This will appeal to anybody who read the Tom Crean ( a real Irish hero) biography and subsequent photo book and was fascinated by the quality of the photography achieved in a difficult environment. at the turn of the last century.
