Photoshop CS4 for about €350

    Hi all,
I just thought I’d let you all know about a great deal I got recently. It’s probably particularly of interest to those of you who are longing to own your own copy of Photoshop. For a long time, I was toying with the idea of investing in this software, so I did a bit of browsing. I came across a website called http://www.buyitultracheap.com” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; (i know, sounds dodgy), and did a bit of investigation. They have copies of Photoshop CS4 for £299, which works out at about €350. I did a bit of digging, and it seems that the site is 3 weeks old, hosted in Panama, operating out of Canada. Now, while all this sounds a bit dodgy, I couldn’t find any BAD reviews of the place, and one very positive review. The domain was only registered 3 weeks ago, so it’s a brand new company. The do mention on their website that they do overstock and liquidation sales, so some real good deals can be found there.
Anyway, I ordered, had some very polite mail exchanges with their sales team, got the packages with the DVDs about 4 days later.
I installed it, registered it and all was fine.
As an extra precaution, I also contacted Adobe Customer Service, and asked them to validate the serial number, which a very nice man did, and told me that the serial number was valid, it was activated correctly, and registered to my email address.
    All Legit and valid.
So, I’ve now got a legal copy of CS4 for €360 including shipping. Not bad considering Adobe Ireland charge about €830 for the same package.
Oh, and I’ve nothing to do with the company, I just though that anyone out there that was considering the big plunge into legit Photoshop ownership might be interested.
    Rgds,
    Dave.

Adobe announced CS5 today. Thats probably why it was so cheap. You can also upgrade to CS5 for €211+VAT if you ever decide to do that.

I was also looking at the Free upgrade policy that they run when people buy a product close to a new product announcement. Unfortunately there’s a requirement that the receipt (proof of purchase) can’t be more than 25% off the RRP. I got it for about 70% off the RRP.
I’ll probably just go for the upgrade when it’s available. Content Aware Fill seems to have everyone hot under the collar ;)

€350 + Upgrade price has to still be cheaper than the RRP here!
