One from yesterday……we had travelled up to the Spelga Dam but the clouds were low and light poor(one year we will get some decent light at the dam!! :? ) so we turned back and were lucky to get some shots of the mountains…..

Mark: what was the name of that App you used to record our route?

It recorded that we covered 12km and gained 500m in height. My knees concur (still)

    Lovely shot there Steve !.

BM: Its called My Tracks and is free. I checked again and we reached 496mtrs from a starting point of 251mtrs, still good
going for a bunch of togs with luggage :) . Overall elevation gain for the day was 589mtrs, which would account for our short-cut
    route on the way up

I’m going to figure out if I can post the route we took up here also.

Ive used some route maps on mobile but this one looks nice n simple just wot I need. :-)
Wonder how many routes can be saved?

myTracks can synchronize tracks, photos and bookmarks with the desktop edition of myTracks for Mac OS X. You have to enable the service to be able to connect from your desktop computer.

    You can download it at:

You were quick off the mark, Niall, to get one before the weather closed in.

This is excellent – showing teh Brandypad going off into teh distance.
