PI Dublin & Nationwide Night Shoot Event !

i might be able to make it this . was down that way once before its good at night
Would that be the Dublin event MartyMoore?
Come on PI’ers more needed for Cork, Galway, Donegal, Waterford, Wexford, Sligo, Limerick, Meath etc etc, this could be a fantastic event with a little bit of effort, only need a few for each area, and it is a great opportunity to show off the best of your towns, cities, villages at night. :)
Still plenty of time to organise something! Just pick a location the time is 7.45pm on 8th November!!

I usually don’t believe any weather forecast for Ireland unless is 24h before, but keep an eye on it.I’m really looking forward to shooting the Docklands in Dublin, and hope the weather holds out :)
I had a stroll out last night with my intended night-shooting rig (a handheld 35mm film rangefinder with wide aperture lens) and realise I need to re-educate myself a little in the art of night shooting, in particular metering, as I no longer have the luxury of Nikon matrix metering on my cameras.
To that end, I’ve started a thread here to solicit some metering, general night shooting, and film advice, should it be of interest. (night-shooting-metering-other-tips-welcome-t40900.html)
Hey Damien, from the long range weather forecast it looks like it is to dry up
later in the evening, so we might be lucky and a few wet pavements can always
add to the scene anyway! :)Just keeping the thread fresh!

Weather to be very wet and windy this week so hopefully it will be all rained out by next week :)
