A great shot Steve, love the colour. I suspect you’ve stolen a march on the group by posting so quickly! :)

Really enjoyed the night, and kudos to Jenny for suggesting and organising the night. Seems the weather put a few off, but the 11/ 12 we got in the end made for a quite decent sized group.

The night itself has given me a taste for more night shooting, and a goodly impetus to start a Dublin-based night photography photo project that has been on my mind for a while.

Was nice to meet everyone, even though it seems I was the only crazy both shooting handheld and shooting film. I count myself especially fortunate being the group shot taker, and managing to nimbly sidestep being in front of the camera :)

I have a few rolls of film to develop now, and hope to do this over the next few days, and perhaps get some scans up along with the group shot.

I completely forgot about this and worked overtime instead. I only remembered when I was driving home at about 9pm. Sorry about that. Hope you all had a good one anyway. Will keep an eye out for the next Dublin event.

Fair play guys for sticking to it in that weather!. I actually went in. Arrived about 18:30, parked opposite the samual Beckett bridge and decided to head towards oconnell street for a bite to eat in lieu of out meet. Got half way up the quays and had to turn back drenched!. Figured at that stage it wouldnt go ahead so, sodden and hungry I headed off.

Maybe next time the weather will be kinder to us. 11-12 in that weather is a great turn out!

    Well done SB

Never mind Steve next time! And RAS the weather cleared up we had
one shower while standing at the custom house and after that it was dry,
pity you didnt hang around, it was cold but enjoyable.

Me and my friends had great fun. We ended up staying out until 11.30. I almost ended up in the Liffey trying to get this photo, but that was fun too. If we’re doing it again though, we should pick a finishing time and place so we can meet have a chat afterwards. Big thanks to Shutterbug for organising it.

Very nice shot Andy, and glad you enjoyed it, you disappeared on us, we all kind of stayed
together, well losing each other and catching up again! Finish time was 10pm and we were
all at the Grand Canal Theatre at that stage, I am sorry we didnt get to say goodbye though,
I think everyone just kind of went their own way after the last stop :)

I also want to thank Jenny for organising the night. Had great fun on my first ever photowalk and will definitely be doing more in the future. I posted other photos to smugmug if anyone is interested in having a look.

Well done Damian, you got some very good shots, the bridge is very nice at night isnt it?
Glad you enjoyed the evening, will do more I am sure, maybe the Christmas lights might
    be worth an outing!

Some really nice shots up there. The bridge does look great. Christmas lights are a good idea, besides the river, I’ve found it hard to find good places to photograph at night, but this time of year, Grafton Street can be nice looking.

And this year the council have put lights on the side streets around Grafton st (which I don’t remember them doing before) so there would be plenty of places to shoot.

Hi, Jenny, thanks a lot again for organizing this shoot. I had a great time and it was good to see people in the flesh! Been very busy lately and I haven’t had a chance to even put the photos I took into the computer. I hope to have time to do this soon and also to take a look at more of the shots everybody else did! The ones uploaded so far are fantastic!:D
