These are from my little 35mm Holga. I still have a few rolls of 120 to send off.

jb7ParticipantVery good, really like the one of the shadow of the bicycle,
really stands out for me-I like the one of the stainless steel things full of Guinness too…
And the one of the mill and the tourist with the white sunglasses-
And the four boys too- and the sculpture-
that is a rather a dodgy lens on the 35mm, isn’t it?Cool, I suppose…
Very good sinead, good to see these at last-
joseph
aoluainParticipantExcellent,
Lov these, It is really nice to see yet another different style! it is amazing
what catches peoples eye and what can be caught at the press of a button.Jeez Sinead its hard to pick a fav here too.
again I like 13 said that before.
I see you had a doubler too, nice!
7, 9, 11, 12 convey a certain stlye of shooting which i like.
overall good results eventhough the lens is not sharp anywhere but is still nice
especially in #5, could have been taken 25 years ago.jessthespringerParticipantJoseph – Yes, it is pretty dodgy, I’ve had sharp pictures from it before though,
I think it does better at closer distances…I really like the bicycle shot too. Lucky guess on the composition.
At last? Are you a bit impatient or something? It’s only been a few days…Alan – I like those too, but, I don’t think I composed any of them, I think my arm was just kind of hanging
over the side of the bus taking those, just lucky, I suppose.
The lens is sharp, somewhere, closer, not good at the far away stuff…Thanks again,
Sinead
MartinParticipant7, 9 and 11 are my favorites from a nice bunch. No 7 I presume thats the fisheye, I like the black corners.
I see you sneaked one of me in too, i’ll have to keep a better eye on you and Rob next time were out.
Wasn’t expecting that big TV in such a big space was something surreal about it when i walked into the courtyard first….
M
ExpresbroParticipantI think I’ll be the last to post anyway Sinead..haven’t even had time to get to the Camera Centre yet.
I really like the one of Martin with the screen..I think you mentioned to me that You’d gotten that. She looks like she is looking down at him.
Also like that surreal looking bike pic..and of course the Garda..I remember saying something to you about not taking pics of Uniformed Garda and you snapped that shot..hehe!!
You’re such a bold girl!!
R
jessthespringerParticipantMartin – Yes, 7 is with the fish eye, it gives slightly bigger black corners, but I cropped them out a little.
I know what you mean about the big TV, it was kind of eerie, the fact there were so few people around, and it was so loud,
and the dodgy french accent, was like a Hitchcock movie, or something…Robbie – I’m a little bit naughty sometimes, but, nice, always nice, tee hee…
So, when are you going to post yours then? I want to see them!ExpresbroParticipantWhen I get time to leave them in to be developed.
Busy week this week with singing and whatnot..just haven’t had a chance.
I still have digital stuff that I haven’t even taken off the D300 yet…
Unorganised be my middle name
Mick451ParticipantExpresbroParticipantMick..if you’re over Blanch way you can drop up and use my scanner if ya like? God knows it isn’t getting used enough at the moment.
Probably feels all neglected.
RobMemberGreat to see these Sinead, a good variety of shots there, some more
eyecatching than others, but still difficult to pick a favourite…9 and 11 do stand out somewhat I suppose, but I’d also be a fan of number 7,
your picture of the ‘Drummer Boy’ at the Royal Hospital…I think I may even be later than Robbie when it comes to posting my LoFi shots
from the day. Might be the middle of next week before I get to a lab…EddieParticipantLots of nice images Sinead , love those shadow images should have good fun in the darkroom with them. also like no13 with the hugh poster. Delighted the day went so well for everyone.
jessthespringerParticipantEddie – Thank you, I have 2 rolls of 120 as well, colour stuff, 1 from the Holga and 1 from the Diana, I might have a go with them in the darkroom… maybe. Maybe more lith prints to be had from them.
It was a great day.Rob – Well, we will just have to wait then, so we will… Thank you…
Mick – I know what you mean about preferring bw, but the colour stuff can be really good too, I was tempted to do naughty things to them, with textures and stuff, but I thought I’d been naught enough already by cropping them a little.
I usually send my stuff off to a lab for processing and scanning, http://www.the-darkroom.co.uk/ do a good job, free postage too. I just get the low res scans too. Utterly pants? Well, be sure to show us anyway…Robbie – OMG, what are you doing man, get it sorted, like…
plainoldmeMemberSinead I really love some of these. It makes me want to experiment so much!
…I want a Holga now.
Maybe that can kickstart my motivation again!!
randomwayMemberI think, you ruled this round, girl.
Let me pick my favourites.
7: because it’s shot from a good angle and has perfect composition and blur and vignetting…
8: because it looks like a still from a cctv footage, and cutting of one of the guys head makes it very interesting and mysterious
9 and 11: shadow and high contrast, great framing
13: probably the best from the bunch, it’s just genius. a bit more sharpness could have made it even better, but you will have to show me a print once to see how it looks on paperp.s. JB trying to look under her skirts on the last one is a great catch, too :)
