PI Outing – Glendalough Outing 3rd – 4th October

I think the last time we did Glendalough was in October too.
John Griffin took a bunch of PI members up there…poor deer :DHav’nt been there in years, due a trip back !

Still open with respect to dates, if October offers more because of the deer, then that maybe an option, certainly want to try and avoid having it too close to Cork trip. I will set up a poll later on, to see what is preferred.

Peter, put me down as a day tripper – although the few pints are tempting :)
– i’ll keep watch on the post for dates – have been to glendalough few times as only 40 mins away – never stayed over – and come to think of it never got any great shots :) :) – definitely would like to be there when the deer are more frequent.
I pass through Glendalough twice a week most weeks. Avoid it in summer, the traffic is manic and there are people everywhere.
In my opinion it’s best in winter, wait for some snow and then have a spontaneous PI outing!!!
