My Dad took a picture of this tree 40years ago I still have it and love it,
I have had a few attempts to replicate it but have never succeeded,BMParticipant5faytheParticipantMickS wrote:
5faythe: Please post your “Leaf” shot, I’m sure it turned out much better than mine.
Hi Mick,
Thanks for the kind comments.
I must say I enjoyed the afternoon too.The leaf was a good find (by you) and having watched John in action a while later I
learned a few techniques which I could have used here. Thanks again to you both.
John.
PixelleMemberJetPackParticipantThere are some awesome pics you guys took on the outing. Hopefully next time I will have a decent enough camera to attend this kind of outing because it seems everyone enjoyed it :)
shutterbugParticipantLove that leaf shot John! Despite the rain and wind it was a good day and it
is great to see all the different shots taken, we could have all been in different
parts of Ireland let alone Glendalough with the diversity of pictures. Thanks everyone for making it a fun day :)
ossie13ParticipantAlessiaParticipantGuys… congratulations to you all….. GREAT GREAT pictures (and I bet, great time as well!)
Well done!

Great detail in the leaf shot John. Nice find
Hi John,
Thanks for your kind comment.
All the credit for the find must go to Mick and I’m sure
he has a good one of this as well.Cheers.
John.
PD_BARBSParticipantWhat a talented bunch we are, anyone of these shots would have generated alot of interest in their own thread. To see such quality and diversity from one outing is a real credit to this forum.
Good to see everyone’s shots.

Thanks John, mine actually turned out quite similar to yours so I tweaked mine a bit to set them apart. (And by a bit I mean a lot, lol).
