the square format is adapted for this composition, i like the foreground and the b&w, a little less the sky.

Nice shot Mark, Iove the path line leading to the peak. My only issue with the composition is the central location of the peak , upsets the balance a little for me. think it would have worked if you had of gone portrait

Thanks. Interesting view, I’ll take a look at it again, can’t recall if I took this in landscape or portrait.
Less hope for the latter :)

I like this a lot. The viewpoint is great and makes the shot very interesting. I do agree with steph9271 about the sky. It looks very noisy or something.
