I wonder if Kylemore Abbey or Connemara National Park would be looking splendid enough for us!!
I was thinking of a day in the national park
colgo2212ParticipantHave to say really looking forward to the trip myself. Don’t really mind where we go to when we get down there but I will give everybody advance warning that I have the worst sense of direction and chances are that I will probably get lost so if any doubt as to which way to go don’t follow me………. you have all been warned, Just ask Steve!
cathaldParticipantGuy’s unfortunately I have to pull out of this trip as something has come up
I was really looking forward to it
hope you all have a good time and the weather plays ball
don’t spend too long in the pub :wink:colgo2212ParticipantNo probs Cathal, maybe the next time!
Ok we have one space available for our trip to Connemara (May 11-13), so if anybody is interested or knows of anybody who would like to go please don’t hesitate and put your name forward.
Without wanting to offend any PI members of the fairer sex, the room is booked to share with a man as when I was making the booking there was 6 males going so 3 rooms are booked to share. Hoping that does not offend anybody but in reality it would have to be a male who would be able to come along as they would be taking Cathal’s place and hence they would be sharing a room with one of the 5 other males.

Cheers Steve
streetshooterMemberSome suggestions for our Connemara trip:
1. The Diamond Hill area, as in the Nation Park, has lost of variations on walks.
2. The area around Cong has some lovely walks inc. around some of Lough Corrib.
3. A visit to Inishturk (ferry leaving from Roonagh might be great if the Satureday is good. see
