Wonderful shot.. Absolutely nice colours and landscape.. the water looks very soft here :)
Thanks for all of the comments. The effect of the stones on the beach together with the remoteness of the location are some of the reasons I wanted to go to Port.
NFL: Yes, I did rush it a bit. Having received so much praise, I will spend a bit more time on a new version.

Very nice I always lve these shots when the sky is coming towards you and it reinforces the stretch effect very nice

Dam… thats a better shot than any of mine from my last couple of visits to Port…! I feel another is on the cards in the next few weeks. I shouldve never mentioned that place on here… although I am sure yee would’ve found it anyway…! Those B&W’s look great… another to add to my wish list.

I’ve just come across this thread after kenh posted it as POTM.
Brian, you’ve outdone yourself with this one. Absolutely beautiful. Amazing explosion of sky and fantastic softness of tones within the surf. Nicely composed too. Saturation is just perfect, lovely subtlety.
Have you been out doing secret practice without me?
