LoGillParticipant
another from last weekend with Iveta …. taken using natural light
The room was beautiful – there were floor to ceiling windows on either side – hence the slight backlight :)

jb7ParticipantGreat pose, and lovely light and colouring-
and of course, quite a nice setting too-Looks like you had a busy weekend-
I’ve seen this model more than once on this site, have I not?
Were you sharing her around?
how did it work?Again, quite a complete photograph-
There are some little things which are no more than questionable-
and there are no right or wrong answers-
the lamp on the piano, for example,
does it add to the picture, and if it does, should it be turned on-And your choice of perspective-
further away might have softened the background,
and concentrated more on the figure-
but as I said, no more than questions-Good to see you back posting-

LoGillParticipantMr JB –
Are you lost !!!! what are you doing in here ?? ;)
Well spotted on the model – Iveta is London based and was travelling in Ireland recently and booked shoots with about 6 photographers on her travels (with a make up artist friend of hers) – she was in my earliler “a feeling” image and also in the thread by Fireking https://www.photographyireland.net/viewtopic.php?t=31262 which ithisk is a gorgeous editorial strip …
as for the details –
The lamp
I look at the scene with the lamp there and turned off – and it didn’t look right
I took the lamp off – it felt empty
I turned it on and for me it seemed more balanced – although with my lower angle – perhaps I could have moved it to get better shape from it .Perspective
maybe it was the novelty of being in such a lovely space – buut I wanted it to be seen :) its pretty :)L
firekingParticipantI love this image, and I love the perspective, it compliments the dress.
Just wish I was there:-)
