That’s a terrific shot Aidan, was a flash used to capture this image? The exposure looks very good which is difficult to achieve in Irish wood land.

No flash, just natural light. It was at a location in the Scottish highlands where a cooperative female brings her kits into the garden during the morning and evening when there is some light. All you need are some props and some bait.
God Aidan, thats an absolutely brilliant shot. I am jealous. Our first monthly comp is a nature theme and that would walk it….can I have it ;)

That is a great shot. Lighting is perfect and I like that she is putting on an emotion. A pine marten on a pine branch, how coincidental :D
It is indeed. I was surprised that we weren’t using flash; the female at this site brings the kits out to the garden in daylight for a few weeks in the summer.
