    I believe there’s a skating rink for the holiday period in Smithfield, might make for some good action shots.

    yeah there is… but to get close enough to them to take good photos you have to pay to get in… and i’m broke :(

    Firstly, I recommend Bray. The harbour is right beside the dart station and is always full of swans, ducks and cormorants . . . as well as gulls and pigeons!
    Then there is Bray beach too which leads onto Bray Head which is always worth a climb and gives great views form the top. There is also Naylors Cove and The Cliff Walk which are both accessible from the beginning of the walk up Bray Head.

    I also recommend Killiney Hill, great panoramic views from Bray Head all the way around to Dubin Bay too . .
