Decided to try my hand at one of those Holga Panoramics while on a holiday in Mexico a few months ago. I set the frame counter to 16 instead of 12 (with no mask installed) and guesstimated where to move the camera.

This is a quick and dirty scan which I will need to redo sometime. I couldn’t use my negative holder so the film was lying on the glass so there are some newton rings visible (when viewed close up).

    I like this dave!

will be trying this sometime myseld, not as easy as it looks i suspect.

would I be right in saying you would have to pan from right to left
    for a start.

Was this hand held or on tripod?

    Nice one Dave

That’s a bit cool, never seen anything like it before.
    Really like it.

    Thanks

This was hand held and if I remember correctly, I panned from left to right here.

    That’s amazing for handheld-

I’d say you’ve exposed roughly twice as many frames as you needed to though,
    judging by the last frame…

You’ll have to get a graduated panning base fixed just below your head…

Really want to go to Mexico again…

This is great, you got a very straight horizon for handheld. I like doing these Holga panoramas, though it kind of chews film!

You have to pan from left to right which seems cofusing and non-intuitive to me. I believe it’s because the image projected on to the film is reversed left-to-right.
