Playing around with PS

Love the colour Urszula, absolutely gorgeous eyes; seems almost a shame
to render them in black and white. Of the two mono versions, I prefer the
contrast and skin tones of the second, but the lightness of the irises in the
first. So tell us, who owns those peepers?Rob.
ulinkaMemberHi Rob,
glad you like them. They are mine by the way.
I took a picture of my eyes and tried to modify the colour of the irises on PS.
They arent naturally so light :p They are just ‘standard’ brownish colour ;)
But seriously, the more I use PS, the more I understand some modifications tricks, it’s just mad you can just change colour like this or erase defects, etc.
On the picture below, the right eye is the real colour :)
u.
and another one for fun…
RobMemberulinkaMemberThanks for that rob.
As you advised me few months ago, I managed to get Photoshop and trying different things with it now. It’s amazing what you can do with it.
Thanks again for your precious advises.
Urszula
ps: i am getting a new Canon 4 Xmas :)steelydanParticipantI prefer the colour version in thread one,are they natural colour (Brown) or PS. Keep staring into them.Kind of reminds me of a Cheetah Eyes for some reason.Hypnotic
lousyParticipantIn the first thread, the second pic. In alll of course the eyes are stunning(don’t let it go to your head) The effects you’ve played around with are excellent..
btw, I knew they were your eyes from your avatar   :wink:Pat
ulinkaMemberok, from reading the comments, I thought it seriously needed an explanation and thought I wasn’t enough unequivocal…
Pat, read this thinking that I am smiling and laughing after reading the posts, please.
I’ll reply quickly to the comment you put in brackets: it’s a fair statement, as we never met and you don’t know what kind of person I am :)
If you knew me, then you wouldnt need to add such a comment in brackets ;) As my friends, most of the time, don’t like me to take pictures too close (tired face, spot on the face, lots of good excuses btw) and as my all family is in France, I am left with meself, to take unfair advantage of my eyes ;)
And so, one night, I ve discovered great videos on Youtube, a guy who is showing how to modify eyes’colour; whiteness of teath, redness for the lips, etc. Something totally new for me, got really excited to try this straight away. Took a picture of my eyes, and here we are.Anyway. John, yes, they are fake Photoshop, photoshop, photoshop :) Even if there might be somebody somewhere with similar light brown eyes, it made me realise few things about how to use PS for magazines, ads, etc. And even if I don’t know that much abt PS so far, I think it’s a “perfection” machine :)
Comments are more than welcome,
I keep smiling cause, again, the all purpose of the post was to show people what I found out, as I didnt come across that kind of stuff on the website :)Urszula
SodafarlMemberUrszula, agree with Rob you have beautiful eyes but I really like the very first post.
