Aye, clone out the contrail. I’ve been accused in other places of “crossing the line” between what’s photographic and what’s not, and I hope you’ll understand and concur with me when I say that this crosses the line WAY OVER! You’ve gone from Photographic Imaging to Creative Imaging – there’s a department in Lurgan Tech. running degree courses in this. You’re not studying there by any chance, are you? I particularly like how the underside of the bridge is properly exposed, bridge undersides can be problematic but this is spot on. I suspect you’ve used a very dark filter and also bracketed images?
Thanks for the comments guys, will have to pull the sliders back a bit,
Photo was taken about 1pm with 10stop filter,400 iso f11 to get the water as seen.
Regards
Photography is subjective and the viewer must take something from the image they are viewing. Some current prhotgraphers do pust digital process a bit to far. However, I respect what they are trying to get in the digital darkroom. This image is well exposed and great compisition. The movement in the water is fine just pushed a bit too far. Other than that I would say you have captured what you went out to do.
