Lovely image Griangraf. The composition is great, especially considering it isn’t a scene many people would have thought to photograph.

I think that B&W would have been stronger than colour here… do you have a conversion?

Yes agree with steve, many people might have missed this. Good spot.
I tried a 50/50 crop and this works really well too

Very effective. It just goes to show that there are good subjects everywhere if we only had the eyes to see them. I would certainly have passed this by.

Totally agree with Carrigman. This to me is what photography is all about, the truly gifted can find a photograph in a car park. Reckon I would of walked past this for years and never seen it. Am i doomed to a life of not seeing!! In short i think its a great simplistic well composed shot and wish iI has taken it.

    Hi Michael John,

    Well done with this.

As the title suggests a small number of elements.

As others have mentioned there is a talent in seeing
    the image.

Interesting too that the wires and poles which seem to spoil
so many landscape are an integral part of this one.

    Cheers,
    John.

Cheers for the comments and feedback everyone. I found this scene on my way to photograph O’ Sullivan’s Cascade in Killarney last August. The light at that moment was quite good. Taken with a 40D, 17-40mm, poariser and grad nd I think.
