    Lovely head shot. Only thing is the tip of the beak is slightly out of focus. Maybe a slightly bigger DOF. Looks as if the bird was just about to shake its head. That lens seems to be the business. The Canon version is on my shopping list. Nice one.

    What strikes me most, and the thing I like most about the shot is the colour and warmth. These guys are notoriously dull. It is very difficult to come across a different view of this bird and this image is different. I have lots of the standard type of cormorant shots but would love to have something of this quality. Lovely job Ciaran.
